Choose from the product’s purpose, fit and materials, then check its own return terms. Sports equipment, activewear and fashion purchases need different comparisons. A store-wide offer does not establish the quality or return eligibility of every item.
Buy for the activity or wardrobe gap
For sports products, define the activity and frequency of use. For clothing, identify the item you need and how it will work with what you own. Buying a replacement or filling a clear gap is easier to evaluate than shopping from a sale percentage alone.
Use the product’s size chart
Take the relevant measurements and compare them with the chart for the exact product. Labels such as medium or size eight can differ between brands and categories. Check whether the chart describes body measurements or garment dimensions.
Read material and care details
Compare fabric composition, construction and washing instructions. For sports equipment, look at the intended use, dimensions and any assembly or maintenance requirements. Do not infer a technical performance claim from a photograph or category label.
Check return eligibility before ordering
Read the current item-level policy and deadlines. Confirm the conditions for a change-of-mind return, size exchange and defective item. Keep tags and packaging where the policy requires them and save the purchase record.
Compare the total order
Include shipping and any checkout charges. For a multi-item order, check whether a coupon depends on keeping a minimum basket value and what happens if one item is returned. The cheapest initial basket may not remain cheapest after an exchange.
Make a deliberate final choice
Shortlist only items that meet the need, fit and care requirements. If the size or specifications remain unclear, resolve that uncertainty before paying. Store collections are browsing options, not independent performance certifications.
Compare the decision factors
| Option or factor | When it fits | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Decathlon collection | Sports equipment and activewear | Activity, fit, space and maintenance |
| Myntra collection | Fashion and footwear | Exact size chart, materials and item policy |
| AJIO collection | Fashion and accessories | Measurements, seller details and return conditions |
Frequently asked questions
Is my usual size reliable across stores?
Use the exact product’s size chart. Size labels are not a universal measurement standard.
Does every discounted item have the same return policy?
Do not assume this. Check each item before ordering.
What should I keep after delivery?
Keep the invoice and any tags or packaging required by the current return or warranty policy.
